Join in us in creating your own handtied summer bouquet bursting with fresh, locally grown colour! In this workshop, we’ll use a wide variety of flowers grown in the Fraser Valley to fashion a multicoloured masterpiece. This workshop will cover cut flower preparation and layering, the handtied method of creating a bouquet, and will explore how colour and texture play a role in the design. Registration is limited.
Included in the cost:
- 20 stems of locally grown fresh cut flowers and greenery! Seasonal selection will include blooms such as alstroemeria, chrysanthemums, dahlias, disbud mums, gerbera daisies, gladiolus, lisianthus, stock, snapdragons, sunflowers, zinnias and more!
- Decorative twine and wrap
- Cut flower food and preservative
*Please bring your own pruners or clippers for this workshop, and a large vase or glass container to display your bouquet
