Garden Centre Sales Associate

Devan Greenhouses is looking for ideal candidates with an open availability who can work a variety of shifts per week.  This position requires a passion for gardening, plants, and people!

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide courteous and efficient service throughout the customer’s in-store experience
• Answer customer questions, provide information and resolve customer complaints
• Maintain a clean and orderly setting
• Stock shelves, cases, bins and coolers neatly with merchandise and arrange displays to attract customers
• Gain an in-depth knowledge of products and services offered to promote all areas of the business and brands

Qualifications and skills:

• Possess excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Good physical health as this job requires bending, lifting, and moving garden and floral products 
• Basic plant and garden knowledge
• Be self-motivated, punctual and reliable
• Work well in both an independent and team environment
• Maintain an overall friendly and professional manner
• Able to lift 30lbs
